For recruiters: inbox → candidate pipeline
Recruiters live in email, but tracking happens in a spreadsheet. Here is how to move candidates there automatically.
The pipeline you can build in one run
- Search the mailbox for CV patterns: subject contains “CV”, “resume”, “application”.
- Export sender name, email, date and attachment names to Excel.
- Save each CV as
date_name_role.pdf. - Add columns: stage, source, next action.
Search query examples
(SINCE 01-Oct-2026 SUBJECT "CV")
(SINCE 01-Oct-2026 SUBJECT "resume")
(SINCE 01-Oct-2026 SUBJECT "application")
Run them separately and merge — one query with OR is not supported consistently across providers.
Privacy and consent
Candidate CVs are personal data. Store them only where you are allowed to, restrict access, and delete on request. Do not upload them to random cloud converters.
- Keep the export local or in a controlled corporate drive.
- Do not mix candidates from different clients in one shareable file.
- Log who accessed the file if your policy requires it.
